How to Become a Vendor at Central Ave Merchants

Central Ave Merchants is a curated marketplace, which means we thoughtfully select vendors to ensure a balanced mix of products, styles, and price points; while keeping the experience fresh and inspiring for shoppers.

Step 1: Submit a Vendor Application

Start by filling out our vendor application form. This helps us learn more about your brand, your products, and what you’re hoping to bring to the shop.

In the application, we’ll ask about:

• Your business and brand story
• The products you’d like to sell
• Pricing and packaging details
• Display needs and space requests
• Your social media or website (if applicable)

📌 Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, but every application is carefully reviewed.

Step 2: Application Review

Once your application is submitted, our team reviews it to ensure:

• Product quality and consistency
• Fit within the current shop mix
• Pricing alignment with our customer base
• Display and space compatibility

Because we limit overlap between similar product types, response times may vary depending on current availability.

Step 3: In-Person Interview

If your application is a good fit, we’ll invite you to an in-person interview at the shop.

This meeting allows us to:

• Meet you and learn more about your brand
• See your products in person
• Discuss display options and space size
• Review pricing, expectations, and policies
• Answer any questions you may have

What to bring:

• A small selection of the products you plan to sell
• Any packaging or branding materials you use
• Your questions — we’re happy to walk through everything

Step 4: Acceptance & Onboarding

If accepted, we’ll guide you through the onboarding process, which includes:

• Vendor agreement and policies
• Shelf or display assignment
• Pricing and inventory setup
• Setup scheduling and timelines

We’ll work closely with you to ensure your display feels cohesive and set up for success!

What We Look For in Vendors

We look for vendors who:

• Create or source quality, well-presented products
• Are reliable and communicative
• Value collaboration and community
• Are open to feedback and growth
• Align with the overall aesthetic and mission of the shop

You do not need to be a full-time business or have a large following; we welcome new and growing makers.
